6.38mm clear laminated glass is a type of safety glass that is composed of two 3mm panes of glass with a .38mm sheet of transparent glass. These components are held together by a special glue.

6.38 laminated Low-E glass has a metal coating on the pane facing indoors. This is to minimize the amount of ultraviolet and infrared light that can pass through glass without compromising the amount of visible light that is transmitted.

This is a 6.38 laminated safety glass that we mostly use in bathrooms, but also serves elsewhere when privacy is required. It allows some light into the room, but completely obscures the view from inside and outside.

6.38 SolarVue laminated glass provides medium solar control and offers a low reflective appearance. It displays a tinted look from the outside while maintaining complete visibility from the inside.

LB52 (Light Blue 52) is also a tinted glass that provides solar control. It has a darker and shinier appearance than SolarVue Neutral.

Double glazing units are manufactured from two 4mm, 6mm or 8mm toughened glass panes with differing air gaps depending on the chosen glass. Double glazing is effective with sound reduction in a noisy environment and can help regulate inside temperatures when utilized correctly.

The same applies as with 'clear double glazing', but laminated 6.38 white translucent glass is used instead of toughened glass.
